Just not the marrying kind…

Last week it was announced that “Gorgeous George” Clooney and his girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis had split. Another one bites the dust as they say.

Photo: GETTY

Elisabetta had recently spoken out saying that she wanted to get married and that she wouldn’t be with a man who didn’t want to get married. WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU DOING WITH CLOONEY THEN LOVE??

I’m not sure how many times the man has to say that he doesn’t want to get married before these women start to listen. He has been married and admitted he was crap at marriage and doesn’t want to do it again. It’s not rocket science. Unless you want to be his girlfriend and childless (he doesn’t want kids either) then don’t go near him (unless for a night of steamy hot sex of course)

I’m almost certain that this is not a problem that George has on his own. As women, why don’t we listen when a man says he doesn’t want to get married, setlle down, have kids. Why do we always believe that we will be the one to change them? I’ve done it myself, nearly sent myself COMPLETELY MENTAL in the process and it was my own fault for not listening to what was being said to me.

So here is my advice. If a man says he’s not marriage material, doesn’t want a serious relationship etc etc. Take him seriously and run 100 miles in the other direction. You’ll save yourself a lot of time, game playing and heartache!

My Blog

Well, Tara over at Sticky fingers has set another toughie this week. A photo that describes My Blog.

My blog is mainly about my family. My little family of 3. The 2 people that have completed me. It is a random and fun and I think this photo sums it and us perfectly.

My Favourite Photo – I’m Proud to Introduce…

Well, it seems that it’s been a week since my last blog post (it’s the baby’s fault) and the first of this week will be my entry to the Sticky Fingers Gallery again.

This week, Tara has asked us to submit our favourite photo. After initial panic and wondering how I was supposed to do that out of the many many pictures I have, I realised that my favourite photo was taken not so long ago.

The happiest moment ever

Very tired but happy mummy!

This is me, 4 weeks ago exactly, about an hour after giving birth to my beautiful boy Sam. It is the first photo we had taken together, although definitely not the last!

I am smiling the most genuine smile I have ever given and am holding the most precious gift I have ever been given. This is a moment that will never be captured again, I was feeling something I never will again and at that moment I certainly knew I would never be the same again.

This photo captured a life changing moment for me and therefore is up there as my favourite photo of all time.
