Flashback Friday – A Comedy Flashback Selection for Red Nose Day

So this week I have a little selection for you. A few pics, of me looking less than prim, some would say downright stupid actually. There is method in my madness though. Today is Red Nose Day and we have been asked this year, to do Something Funny For Money.

I’m not very funny. But hopefully you’ll think these pics are and maybe give £1 to Comic Relief? Even if I manage to make £8 through this today, then that £8 could pay for ten Ugandan children to be tested for malaria so they can get a quick diagnosis and receive life-saving treatment.

Brilliant, that’s 10 kids that are alive, for a very very small sum of money. Here’s the link if you want to donate.

Silent Sunday – Doing His Bit for Comic Relief

Twatrelief – much better than Twitrelief

I’m glad I was not the only person who didn’t agree with Twitrelief (I agree with the cause obviously) but why should we pay for a celeb to follow US on Twitter and for a mere 90 days (although I am sure that my awesome tweets would keep anyone glued to me forever more)

Should “celebs” not use Twitter like the rest of us and follow people just because they think we might be interesting or do they just follow other “celebs” and us Twitter to boost their already huge egos.

So…I digress. In comes TWATRELIEF a much better notion. We UNFOLLOW a celeb on Twitter, state why and then donate to Comic Relief on the Twatrelief Just Giving page. Win win really.

Go on folks, you know you want to. It’s a brilliant cause and we can get rid of some of those people that you’re unsure why you follow to begin with!

I chose to unfollow Victoria Beckham for her overuse of exclamation marks and her need to sign off tweets with xvbx. I then donated £2 (+ 56p gift aid) to the Twatrelief page. Hooray!
